“Maurizio Bertoli, (a.k.a. MB) is
a bit of a controversial character
in the stone industry at
the international
level. He has many fans,
and a few enemies as well. As he likes to put it,
“If 50% of the people
involved in the stone industry like me, and 50% don’t. Hmmm… Sounds to
me like 100% of them know me and are talking about
me!”
Whether or not they like his aggressive
personality, or his
revolutionary customer education focused business model, the fact is that everybody
at the very least recognizes
his unsurpassed expertise and almost uncanny trouble-shooting ability. |
Furthermore,
one thing that no one could ever
doubt is MB’s integrity,
honesty and ethics.
In other words, nobody
ever criticizes
or questions the
validity of his statements; some just
don’t like the way they are delivered:
point blank and
right between the eyes!
Or as he likes to put it: “I say
it like it is, and I don’t put any sugar
on it." (Most often at the expense of
the Stone industry establishment).
What can we say; Maurizio likes to make
an impression! However, the fact is that there’s nothing
calculated about his personality. This
is just the way he is, down to earth and
with a dry sense of humor!
Maurizio Bertoli sure is a character to be reckoned
